Hazel Family Eyecare

We’ve been going to Hazel Family Eyecare for about a decade, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Dr. Fowler is excellent and personable, and completely invested in providing her patients with the best service. The staff is skilled and attentive, and though we live nearly an hour’s drive from the office, we are simply thankful to have such good and professional people providing such a vital service.

We just switched over to Hazel Family Eyecare after over 30 years with Marietta Eye Clinic. After typing this first sentence, I realized that I don’t need to say anything more about the experience that I had with Dr Thomas. “Family Eyecare” vs. “clinic” pretty much summed up my first appointment. Friendly staff, very accommodating in a very comfortable environment. The exam was quick and efficient, no 2.5 hour appointment being shuffled from exam room to exam room and back out to “general population “. There was no pressure to purchase lenses or glasses, no wrestling to get my prescription. They just gave it to me without asking. Dr Thomas took care of the stigma associated with the eye doctor. Next on the list is the dentist. No, actually I have a good dentist.

I had such a wonderful experience with this office. I had an eye emergency after accidentally splashing a chemical into my eye, and they went out of their way to make sure I could be seen on a Friday afternoon. Everyone was incredibly supportive, attentive, and reassuring throughout the visit. Dr. Thomas was wonderful, kind, thorough, and caring. I felt very well taken care of during a stressful situation and truly appreciated how accommodating the entire team was. Highly recommend!

Defected from Pearl and found a wonderful place close to my house. Hazel is fantastic and the optometrist was much more thorough Then I had had in the past. They have a huge selection of HIGH END eyeglasses and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Our entire family sees Dr. Thomas at Hazel Family Eyecare. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. They have current equipment to assess any situation that may arise. The staff is friendly too. The office communicates well. For example, they send annual email reminders to set up an appointment so that you are always being taken care of. On the "flip side", I do not purchase my frames or lenses here, but that doesn't have anything to do with the service provided.

Staff were very organized and polite. The tech was very thurough, efficient and friendly. Dr Fowler is amazing. Technically outstanding and willing to take the time to discuss details and alternatives.
