Dr. Nazanin Thomas grew up in Woodstock, Georgia and began her academic path close to home, earning a bachelor's degree in biotechnology from Kennesaw State University. Her interest in the science behind vision and her natural curiosity about how people see the world led her to pursue a Doctor of Optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas.
Throughout her training, Dr. Thomas actively sought out opportunities to deepen her understanding of clinical care. While attending school, she worked as an eye care consultant and completed advanced rotations in specialty contact lenses and surgical co-management. This hands-on experience gave her a strong foundation in full-scope optometry — including both medical and routine care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Thomas brings a calm, thoughtful presence to the exam room. She believes that trust begins with listening, and that patients deserve care that feels personalized, unrushed, and clear. Her goal is always to help patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their eye health decisions.
Outside the office, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their energetic puppy. She loves discovering new restaurants, traveling when she can, and is currently learning to play golf — a goal she’s excited to keep working toward.
